We visited the Augusta Distillery and tasted three straight from the barrel bourbons and got a tour of their facility so far.
We have taken a lot of barrel tours over the years and this one ranks up there as one of our favorites! Our guide mixed up a fun “bourbon whiskey 101” style experience alongside a “straight from the barrel” tasting and bottling experience, that appealed to the different levels of bourbon drinkers in our group. The pace was a little slower than most but to basically wrap up 3 styles of tours into one, at a very reasonable price, you can’t beat this experience!
