- Started in whiskey as a restaurant manager for 30 years in big corporate restaurants

- retired from that then found an add for a bartender for a tasting room on the weekends
- he met Daniel, who gave him some MGP sourced whiskey
- he sat down with Daniel and got hooked on cask strength and drinking it neat
- He soon found that his patrons came in and knew more than him so he needed to educate himself more
- the got a part time job at a liquor store to get more experience with spirits
- Hired December 2018
- He was always a rum drinker, likes Appleton
- Appleton in Jamaica was his first distillery tour
- He grew up in Canada
- they do a 1,000 wedding a year there and have a chapel there
- Food trucks are sometimes there
- you can bring your own food in
- Rex and Daniel are generally not there on Saturdays and Sundays

- Emma Nedamier is Distillery Manger her mother in law Deb is the Distiller and Emma’s husband Tommy does odd jobs there
- Emma is doing more blending now, she finished a course at Balcones
- The gals took the solome clas there and Daniel liked them and asked them to work there

- He had no knowledge of the Whiskey Vault or Tribe when he went to interview for the job
